Once the cloth has completely dried, remove it from the oven and rinse it in cold water for a maximum of 30 seconds. Keep drying it in the oven and rinsing it with colder water after which you need to leave it to dry for 48 hours. Now, you cloth is ready for removing scratches on your device.
Baby Powder : Baby powder can also be effective if used properly. You will need to make a thick mixture of baby powder and water and apply it on a clean cloth for getting rid of scratches on your device. You should then use another slightly wet cloth to remove any excess mixture and will find your phone or tablet has fewer or no scratches.
Things You Should Not Use To Remove Scratches
There are certain items you will come to know for removing scratches for other items but not for your smartphone or tablet. These are as follows.
Toothpaste : Toothpaste works wonder for getting rid of scratches on your CDs or DVDs, but one cannot expect to do the same for your smartphones or tablets. The reason for this is that CDs or DVDs have a plastic polycarbonate layer and scratches on it can easily be restores. This isn’t the case with your smartphone or tablet and thus should not be used.
Vegetable oil : Oil may be lubricant, but using it will cause your smartphone or tablet to become smudged with bad odor and not clear away any scratches.
Baking sodaBaking soda also should not be used as it has a rough surface and can damage your device. People who use baking soda thinking it will clear scratches will end up causing a lot more damage.
